This is one of the funniest, realest flicks I've seen in a great while. It seems that The 40-Year-Old Virgin really opened the gateway into a new marvelous era of film.
That movie, followed by Superbad, Knocked Up, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, and soon, Pineapple Express, is a series of pure magnificence. These new flicks are really deserving of their own sub-genre that's focused around sweet, good-hearted people living (mostly) real life situations sharing deep connections with one another while bursting up the audience with nonstop hilarity and avoiding most typical movie cliches.
From start to finish, Forgetting Sarah Marshall is a laugh-a-second riot that leaves you walking out of the theater with a warm feeling in your belly. It truly lives up to all the hype. In fact, Charms and I saw it yesterday and we're heading back out this evening for another helping because we just can't get enough.
Also, if you haven't seen the trailer for Pineapple Express, it's clear that is going to be another insanely spectacular feature starring Seth Rogen and James Franco. Our first glimpse at a full trailer was during the previews for Sarah Marshall and it had us welling up with tears we were laughing so violently.
So, in summary, go see Forgetting Sarah Marshall. You must. It's a mandate from the Flying Spaghetti Monster and yours truly. If you've already seen it, what did you think?

I can't wait for the DVD to be released so I can start posting clips from it.
"How can you read... when you are blind?"
Reminds me of the Adam Sandler movie factory of the 90's, only better.
/I was a teenager in the 90's, I was allowed to appreciate Sandler Humour back then.
We call this genre "Chick Flicks For Dudes".
Dick Flicks.
No love whatsoever.
