From what I had been reading, and reviews from friends - I already was pretty sure I would love it, and I did. What a fantastic movie.

My biggest complaint, is that this smart, beautifully acted and directed film didn't get a general release here in Australia. I had to go to the local "art house" cinema (Dendy Brisbane) across town to see it. It depresses me that a dumb, CGI wet-dream spasm like Eagle Eye would be shown everywhere, forever- and film like Moon doesn't rate a national release. We may never have another movie culture changing SF movie like 2001 because not enough people would see it. Honestly, I doubt that 2001 would make a national release in this era.

When the best of the genre are Silent Hill and the Resident Evil series, you know you're in trouble. It's only Moon that made me realise how cool this guy is. Here he is recounting a Tim Allen joke on the set of Gentlemen Broncos. I would sift this but having found it on aol the embed code threw up a dupe to another older, different and dead video. Odd. Anyway, felt naughty so i uploaded it to my YouTube account.

Johnny Depp sailed onstage Thursday on a pirate ship in Anaheim, Calif., to help announce the forthcoming installment of Disney's blockbuster film franchise.

Depp will reprise his role as Capt. Jack Sparrow in "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides," slated for summer of 2011. It's the fourth in a series.

Chairman of Walt Disney Studios Richard Cook announced the news to about 5,000 fans on hand for D23, Disney's answer to Comic-Con. The first all-things-Disney convention runs through the weekend

Ok, I'll admit off the bat I like the Matrix trilogy. All 3 of them. I've always heard other people berating 2 and 3 as if they were terrible, terrible movies, but I never understood why. Instead of trolling the internet trying to figure out why they sucked, can't you all just fill me in?

He got his first silver star on the old Sift just over a month ago but he already collects his second one, now for ~~drinking 50 rums~~ sifting 50 videos. Incredible, I guess he has figured out the taste of sifters....
