Hideo Kojima almost got me with this screen on my first playthrough of Metal Gear Solid 2. Imagine sitting up at 5 AM, having played through most of the game in one sitting, only to be greeted by this. I was ready to scream.

Orange County band Ignite doing their usual business of defying what hardcore punk traditionally is by being intensely melodic and having one of the best singers (and I mean singer, not screamer) in the genre. I saw them last Saturday, and it was among the best shows I'd been to.
